Wondering
Adrift amongst the stars tonight I find my heart softly lingering, thoughts
of you fill my mind.
Are you just a dream conjured from the inner most part of my soul, or does
my imagination show me a wonder I am yet to behold?
Amongst the moon's light and the effervescence of a shooting star, I gaze
down upon you in all your glory and wonder if such a dream could be real? Do
I dare
allow myself to hope, for could such a superb being exist in a world which
has showed me such heartbreak before?
Adoring looks into your heart reveal a man filled with passion, strength and
fire. Your strength and convictions are admired by all who gaze upon you,
while your
heart contains all the passions of a poet and a fire which tells of a love
to withstand all time.
As I lay above the world tonight my heart travels ahead in time, ahead to a
place where love is King and you are by my side. In your arms I have found
the place
where I belong and my soul is free from all the burdens it once had to hold.
Alone amongst the stars tonight, lost in all my dreams of you, my heart is
full of love and promise of the things which may be if only dreams could
come true.
